A little more about me
I’m from UP, born in Coimbatore, and raised across places thanks to my dad being in the Air Force. 8 schools later, I got pretty good at starting over, meeting new people, and figuring things out.
I’ve always been a maker. Mandalas, paintings, glass art, candles, resin, handmade pins. Basically, if someone said “Can you make this?”, I’d say yes. And if I couldn’t, I’d learn.
I wanted to be an architect since 8th standard, took Science for it, and somehow ended up doing B.Tech. My backup dream? Becoming a fighter pilot. I made it quite far, but life had other plans.
After engineering, a couple more plot twists, including a two-month hospital stay, made me rethink what I actually wanted to do. That’s when I found UX design.
It felt like the perfect intersection of things I already loved: making things, solving problems, understanding people, and figuring out how things could be better.
I started with an internship at Voizo, then joined Jumbo as a founding member and got my first taste of building from 0 to 1. A year later, I moved to Bangalore and joined Better Place, where 2 years of working with some genuinely great people taught me a lot about design, products, and people.
Then I took a break.
And now I’m back at it: building this portfolio, looking for the next problem worth obsessing over, and probably still saying:
“I don’t know how to do it… but I’ll figure it out.”
How is it to be working with me?
I care about the whole thing
I don’t stop at the screen. I think about the user, the business, the edge cases, and what happens when the design meets engineering. Good design has to survive outside Figma.
I’m a generalist by choice
Research, flows, UI, prototyping, interaction, systems, copy. I like being involved across the whole stretch. I’ll zoom out when needed, and obsess over the 4px when it matters.
I use AI as a co-pilot
I use it to explore wider, prototype faster, and kill the boring bits. The thinking, taste, judgement, and final call? Still mine.
I bring opinions & questionable humour
I care deeply about the product, ask a lot of questions, and believe the best teams make room for both good work and good nonsense.
When I’m not designing
I’ve never been great at sitting still. When I’m not designing, I’m usually somewhere outdoors: hiking, trekking, surfing, kayaking, or chasing another trail run and collecting a medal along the way.
I’m equally happy making art, picking up a random new hobby, or learning something just because “why not?” And if there’s a dog around, chances are we’re already friends.
Basically, I’m either making, moving, learning, befriending a dog, or vibing to some chatpati Bollywood playlist.
